We are at a very fun place in General Music. Students are currently writing their own songs based on the musical form of layering. Students are in small groups, each playing their own parts and instruments - and it is so fun to watch them create these songs!
Students will be performing their group compositions during class:
per. 1 - Mon, 4/29
per. 2 - Wed, 5/1
per. 3 - Thurs, 5/2
per. 4 - Mon, 4/29
per. 5 - Tues, 4/30

Upon completion of the presentation of our group compositions, we will review for an exam on material studied during our Rhythm Unit. Students will share their knowledge of the material on the exam through a variety of mediums: matching, multiple choice, and fill in the blanks. Students will go through a review sheet for the exam on the day their compositions are performed. The test will take place:

per. 2 - Fri, 5/3
per. 3 - Mon, 5/6
